# iOS App

> Get started with Rapid Reader on iPhone and iPad

The iOS app brings Rapid Reader to your iPhone and iPad with touch-optimized controls and seamless share sheet integration.

  <Step title="Download from the App Store">
    Search for **Rapid Reader** in the App Store, or visit [rapidreader.app](https://rapidreader.app) on your device to get the download link.

  <Step title="Add Content via Share Sheet">
    Share articles, notes, or web pages directly to Rapid Reader from any app. In Safari, tap the share button and select **Rapid Reader** to instantly send content to your library.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Start Reading">
    Open Rapid Reader and select a read from your library. **Tap the screen** to play or pause. Words appear one at a time with the optimal recognition point highlighted in red.

  <Step title="Control Playback">
    * **Tap** - Play/Pause
    * **Swipe up/down** - Adjust reading speed
    * **Swipe left/right** - Skip backward/forward
    * **Tap progress bar** - Jump to any position

  **Share sheet tip**: The share sheet works from Safari, Notes, Mail, and any app with text sharing. Select text before sharing to send only that portion to Rapid Reader.
