# Web App

> Get started with Rapid Reader in your browser

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the App">
    Visit [rsvp.rapidreader.app](https://rsvp.rapidreader.app) in any modern browser. No account or installation required.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add Your Content">
    Click **Add Read** and choose how to add content:

    * **Paste text** directly into the text area
    * **Upload a file** (PDF or EPUB)
    * **Import from URL** (articles and web pages)
  </Step>

  <Step title="Start Reading">
    Press **Space** to begin. Words appear one at a time with the optimal recognition point highlighted in red, helping your eyes focus naturally.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Control Playback">
    * **Space** - Play/Pause
    * **Up/Down arrows** - Adjust speed by 25 WPM
    * **Left/Right arrows** - Skip backward/forward
    * **Click progress bar** - Jump to any position

  **Add to Home Screen** - Rapid Reader works as a Progressive Web App (PWA). On mobile, tap your browser's share button and select "Add to Home Screen" for an app-like experience with offline support.
