Install from Play Store

Download Rapid Reader from the Google Play Store. The app works on phones and tablets running Android 8.0 or later.

Add Content

Tap the + button to add content:
  • Paste text from your clipboard
  • Open a file (PDF or EPUB from your device)
  • Import from URL (articles and web pages)

Start Reading

Tap the Play button to begin. Words appear one at a time with the optimal recognition point highlighted in red.

Control Playback

  • Tap center - Play/Pause
  • Swipe up/down - Adjust speed
  • Swipe left/right - Skip backward/forward
  • Tap progress bar - Jump to any position
Share to Rapid Reader - Use Android’s share menu to send content directly to the app. In Chrome or any app, tap Share and select Rapid Reader to instantly add articles, text, or links to your library.
